Just This: Do nothing, and discover how little depended upon the one who thought it was doing everything.

Sitting today felt different.

Thoughts circle as they do, and settle like leaves at season’s end.A clearing forms; that is awake awareness, without the need for thought.'Within: ‘Just this’.Lao Tzu spoke: Do nothing, and nothing is left undone. The world spins beyond my practice. And everything occurs without the need for thought.Without: ‘Just this’.The liminal boundary between within and without dissolves because it is only thought that seems to need it.Perhaps, doing nothing reveals the absence of the one who imagined they were doing everything.Leaves sway in the wind.Cells spin in an internal unfathomable relationship.Your heart beats you.Trees lean in a slow growth that shows you a different measure of time. The morning arrives slowly to reveal the day.Nothing waits for thought. And the movement within and without flows as ‘Just this’.An unfurling grace of magic.Do nothing and ‘Just this’ reveals itself everywhere.Within and without, Just This.
