Is there a deeper reality beyond our normal seeing?

The lake this morning lay still beneath the weight of fog.

So still, the lake seemed as if it had forgotten itself in an quiet egdeless infinity.

In moments like this, where everything seems held within it, it is possible to sense a question: Is there a deeper reality beyond our surface seeing of the world?

Fog and lake bleed into each other in a slow swirl of disorientation which invites you to dare to look further.

Stepping into the water, disturbance ripples and trembles outwards in contact with stillness and a oneness that slowly bestows balance on the whole. The words of John Donne my guide: No man is an island; entire of itself.

I enter the void.
